Researcher at the Catalan Police Academy, doctoral studies at University of Barcelona, visiting fellow at Tilburg School of Humanities

    I combine working for a public administration with lecturing at a master's degree and doing my doctoral research on police culture: a longitudinal study of new police recruits' process of socialization. I work as Head of Research and International Cooperation within the School of Police of the Institute for Public Security of Catalonia (Barcelona). I have an extensive an scholarly experience in the fields of criminal justice and police. I have worked in European research funded  projects and I have been involved in international networks for police research and training. I lecture at a Master on Security at the University of Barcelona. As part of my PhD I am a visiting fellow at the Department of Culture Studies of Tilburg University.
