Suzanne van der Beek is assistant professor of children's literature at the department of culture studies at Tilburg University.

Suzanne van der Beek (1988) is an assistant professor of Children's Literature and Online Culture at department of culture studies of Tilburg University, after undergraduate training at the universities of Amsterdam, Leiden, and Lille. In her doctoral research, she studied the dynamics of online narratives in the context of the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. Her current research explores the position of children in the cultural imagination around climate change.
