Donni Wang

I am an ancient historian and a modern commentator. My work lies at the intersection of economics, culture, and structural analysis.

Currently a postdoctoral fellow at Shanghai University, Donni Wang received her B.A. in Economics from U.C. Berkeley and her Ph.D. in Classics from Stanford University.  She is the author of Before the Market: The Political Economy of Olympianism (2108), a book that provides an inspiring account of ancient Greece that sheds new insights on the key developments of modernity.
