Suleika Gommers

Born and raised in the city of Tilburg, Suleika (26) stayed in the city of ‘Kruikenzeikers’ to study Culture Studies in university. Soon she became a very active student in extracurricular activities such as being chairman of the study association ‘Animo’ and chairman of the cultural student festival ‘Stukafest’. Having an interest in Africa for the longest time, she choose to do voluntary work in Kenya and Tanzania and support projects for street children of Don Bosco. After that, she became part of the group volunteer for ‘De Hasseltse Kapel’, Tilburgs oldest monument. From this work she filled the vacancy of manager. For two years she was responsible for the daily maintenance, event management, public relations and policy making of the foundation.
